Description
Epoxy Bond is a two component, 100% solids, structural adhesive used for
sealing cracks under damp and dry conditions. It is a high modulus, moisture
insensitive bonding agent that can be used for patching and grouting either
wet or dry surfaces. Epoxy-Bond is an excellent anchoring epoxy system for bolts, steel rods, and
rebars into concrete or other substrates.
MEETS ASTM C-881, TYPE I II,
III, GRADE 1, CLASS B & C
Basic Uses
Positive bonding of new concrete to old, eroded or spalled
concrete surfaces. Waterproofing and restoration of all concrete
surfaces. Sprayable Formulation!
Limitations
Epoxy-Bond HM LV should not be applied
at temperatures below 40 degrees F. Don with thin with solvents. Do not apply
over latex concrete, mastics and greasy or oily concrete. Epoxy-Bond HM LV can
be used as an adhesive for fresh plastic Portland cement mortar or concrete.
Surface Preparation
Surfaces
of application should be clean and sound. Use conventional cleaning methods
such as acid etching or mechanical scarification. Surface may be dry or damp,
but free of standing water. Coverage: 200 square feet per gallon.
Mixing Instructions
1. Stir each component separately 2.
Blend 2 parts A base to 1 part B of Reactor by volume 3. Mix thoroughly for
two minutes 4. When preparing a grout, add 3 parts of sand to 1 part of
mixed Epoxy and mix completely
