General Purpose Low Viscosity Epoxy Casting Compound.

Description:

Epoxocast EB-124 is an easy-to-use, low viscosity, epoxy potting/casting compound displaying excellent adhesion to metals, ceramics and most plastics. When properly cured with Epoxocure 11, Epoxocast EB-124 will conform to the requirements of MIL-I-16923, Types B, C and D. Low viscosity ensures good flow and penetration in densely packaged modules.

Mixing Instructions:

1. Stir Epoxocast EB-124 thoroughly in its original container until uniform and any settled filler is completely re-incorporated.

2. Weigh out required amount of Epoxocast EB-124 and weigh into it 6-7 parts Epoxocure 9 per 100 parts Epoxocast EB-124; or 9-10 parts Epoxocure 11 per 100 parts Epoxocast EB-124.

3. Mix curing agent in thoroughly.

4. De-air (if necessary) at .5 cm. Hg. For 10 minutes.

5. Pour into mold, module or cavity.

Cure Schedule:

Epoxocure 9 – overnight at room temperature.

Epoxocure 11 – 2 to 3 hours at 100°C, 4 to 6 hours at 80°C or 12-16 hours at 60°C.
