Very High Thermal Conductivity Casting Epoxy Compound.

Description:

Epoxobond EB140 is a low viscosity, highly filled, epoxy formulation which, in addition to having excellent electrical properties, has unusually high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion. Epoxobond EB140 is available in a thixotropic version for dipping applications.

Mixing Instructions:

1. Warm Epoxobond EB140 to 100°F - 125°F and stir contents thoroughly before withdrawing any material.

2. Weigh out required amount of Epoxobond EB140 and weigh into it 3-4 parts Epoxocure 9 per 100 parts Epoxobond EB140; or 4-5 parts Epoxocure 11 per 100 parts Epoxobond EB140.

3. Mix curing agent in thoroughly.

4. De-air (if neccesdary) at 0.5cm. Hg. For 10 minutes.

5. Pour into mold or cavity.

Cure Schedule:

Epoxocure 9 – overnight at room temperature or 2 hours @ 150°F.

Epoxocure 11 – overnight @ 125°F. or 2 hours @ 200°F. or 1 hour @ 250°F.

NOTE:   For service temperature above 300 °F, post cure 2 – 3 hours at 325°F to 350°F
